The prototype TSR-2, the only example to fly, first flew on 27 September 1964. It made 24 test flights with a total time of 13 hours 9 minutes, the last being on 31 March 1965. Transported to Shoeburyness and used as a target to test the vulnerability of a modern airframe and systems to gunfire. |
