| Charlie - Charlie - Foxtrot was flying circa 1961. I was a passenger on a trip - possibly from Addmore (sp?) to Whangerei to view the oil refinery construction. We diverted and landed at Whenuapai to disembark a passenger for a connection flight to CHC. The "new Airport" was not operational yet. Not much info really, I suppose, but it was flying damn near 50 years ago. Ken Davis | |
