| ZS-MHW was imported, new, into South Africa in 1973-1974 by a consortium of four (two businessmen and two farmers) from Cathcart in the Eastern Cape. The new price was ZAR 25 000. A fixed undercarriage, 235 horsepower with a VP prop was the logical choice for flying off short, grass-covered strips at high altitudes, and for frequent crossings of the Amatola, Stormberg and other Eastern Cape mountain ranges. | |
