N334AA, 1956 Douglas DC-7 C/N 45106, The nose section of this American Airlines DC-7 has been preserved at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. It is interesting to note that this aircraft bore the same registration as the airlines's 767 that was hijacked and destroyed on September 11, 2001.
