G-AOIR, 1943 Thruxton Jackaroo C/N 82882, G-AOIR at Meppershall, when operated by The Stevenage Flying Group. A steel framed cabin had just been fitted to replace the rapidly deteriorating wooden original. Les Smith, who later purchased the aircraft, is working on the fuselage.
