N9078E, 1946 Aeronca 11AC Chief C/N 11AC-710, 78E on short final at the Fremont airport(Calif) flying over  broken cement (was never removed when the airport was built) which discouraged landing short! Over the years,several planes tried without much success like a C150 on 3-1-75.
