44-27297, 1944 Boeing B-29 Superfortress C/N 3615, On display at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.  “Bockscar” was a Silverplate conversion, assigned to 393rd BS, 509th Composite Group.  It dropped the “Fat Man” Plutonium atomic bomb on Nagasaki, its secondary target on Aug. 9, 1945.
