Q59 Airport - Fremont airport,Calif during one of its many floods and Carl seen in front of his yellow Stinson doing everything he could (raised plane etc) to protect his pride & joy.Few owners I knew cared more for their planes then Carl did.View is NE.

  • Q59 Airport - Fremont airport (Calif) at closure in 1986. Strange twist-both planes seen in pic,  ( once owned both ) they ended their flying days in Florida not far apart. The 150 due to storm damage & the 172 crashed into the water (9-23-12) off the Florida coast. - by S B J by S B J
