I have been researching this airplane in order to build an RC scale model. I am interested in any information about it. I have much I can share. This was a protype cropduster designed for Central Aircraft by Robert T. Lamson. It was designed specifically as a crop duster to compete with surplus Stearman Aircraft conversions but couldn't compete on price. It's performance was superior witht he ability to caryy it's weight in product. All four wing panels were identical and interchangeable for ease of maintainance and minimising spare parts inventory. All six tail sections (Fins and stabilizers) were similarly identical and interchangeable. |
