N76096, 1946 Cessna 140 C/N 10493, Dad co-signed note to buy my 1st plane $2,600. Needed 4 cyls for 4 mos and $900. No local CFI brave enough to teach me in it. So I rented CE150 30 miles away. Got my PPL in 1966. Flew 75096 until 68. Sold it for $3,500.
