  • Q59 Airport - Fremont,Ca closed in 1986.Most pilots who flew out of Fremont and there were many, will find this picture a familiar sight. It is on the 45 entry to runway 31 and over the landfill. Over the dumps, was an often heard unicom call.View is to the east. - by S B J by S B J
  • Q59 Airport - Fremont airport (Calif) at closure in 1986. Strange twist-both planes seen in pic, ( once owned both ) they ended their flying days in Florida not far apart. The 150 due to storm damage & the 172 crashed into the water (9-23-12) off the Florida coast. - by S B J by S B J
