I owned and flew two Stearmans in the period 1981 to 1984.
The registrations were G -BIXN and G-BAVN.
I have significant information concerning these two magnificent aircraft.
G-BIXN came to grief in the 80's and I am not sure about G-BAVN. This aircraft was owned by a company that I owned PD Evans & Co. Ltd. My log book informs me that I owned the aircarft from August 1983 to the end of October 1983.
A company that I owned, Evans Estates Limited, was the proprietor of G-BIXN and I had the pleasure of flying this aircraft for two years from July 1981 until September 1983.
After this I owned and flew DHC1 Chipmunk G-APPM until July 1984. since when I have not flown at all.
