The remains of this plane are found on Williams Island, a small island off the West side of Andros in the Bahamas. There are two other planes crashed nearby. The island was used by drug runners in the 1970s and 80s. There remains a small airstrip in the center of the island. N1288G is upside down and riddled with bullet holes, which were shot into the craft after it landed.
