N927BA was the premier skydiving aircraft in the Houston, Texas, area for many years, or even a couple of decades. It was based at Houston Gulf Airport which has also disappeared into a sub division. It later moved to the Spaceland skydiving operation in Anahuac, Texas in the early 90s. It was used until it's "cycles" were up.
Dave Boatman (R.I.P.) , a VP for now defunct "Metro Airlines" brought Otters into Texas Skydiving in the 70s. This was HIS plane, and not a rental.
