J-1195, De Havilland (FFA) Vampire FB.6 (DH-100), c/n 704, After withdrawl from service most Vampires were flown to Sion for storage. When we paid a visit to the base there were 53 Vampires on the base. Most were still airworthy and many are still flying in the war birds circuit today.
