VH-EAG, 1955 Lockheed L-1049F Super Constellation, c/n 4176, Curiously, registration VH-EAG was used to illustrate a QANTAS ad in the Sun-Herald newspaper on 12 September 1954. It advertises their new all- first Class Super Constellation service to San Francisco. Slightly off topic but interesting nevertheless.
