N5248Z, 1961 Piper PA-22-108 Colt, c/n 22-8931, 48Z at the New Jerusalem airport near Tracy,Ca.Even with over 4K hours in tailwheel planes, I still immensely enjoyed my time with 48Z. A fun little plane! Purchased 48Z for resale but surprised myself on how much I enjoyed it.

N5248Z - 48Z at Cottonwood Landing airport (only a dirt runway )in 1986.This fantastic strip was closed in 92.It did not fit in with the National Recreation Area.That is the Colorado river in top picture.Naturally,recreation did not mean airplanes. - by S B J
