N43961, 1946 Taylorcraft BC12-D, c/n 7620, On dry lake outside of Death Valley,Ca. Dry lakes are very nice to land on but be careful for water under the surface or your entire day ( 172s on 5-29-64 & 7-4-75 & C150 on 10-3-71) could be ruined ! Almost happened to me on one- almost- dry lake .
