N39932, 1945 Taylorcraft BC12-D, c/n 6585, 932 at the now closed Shingletown airport in NE calif. Was a neat airport with a jump jet rise you can see at the far end. It is like a loss of an old friend when one of these neat airports close.

N39932 - 932 on Mud Lake south of Tonopah,Nv. next to R4809. Found several spent shell casings that were obviously from an aircraft, even though I was out of the restricted area.Notice the boundary posts behind 932. O well. - by S B J
