XM569, 1961 Avro Vulcan B.2, C/N: Set 50
The metal knobs seen attached to the inside of the storage box, which is the base for one of the two jump seats, are carried in case the aircraft ever has to be jacked up away from base. They fit onto the jacking mechanism and fit into the jacking points.
