N105W, 1929 Lockheed Vega 5C, C/N: 72
On display at the National Air and Space Museum. This specially modified Vega set the record in 1931 for the first around the world flight by a fixed-wing aircraft, taking eight days in the hands of Wiley H. Post and Harold Gatty.
