N16878, 1937 Fairchild F-45, c/n 4014, I was invited to fly with former school friend and pilot, Lee Oman in this Fairchild 45 at a private air strip N. Idaho. Lee made it memorable with a couple loop de loops! He said only 17 were built in 1937. It was for sale at the time for $195,000.
