N9683, 1929 Ford 5-AT-B Tri-Motor, C/N: 39
Flying in N9683 near Willimantic Connecticut in 1962 as American Airlines did a farewell tour before presenting the aircraft to the Smithsonian, where it remains today. I was credentialed as a broadcast journalist and got to fly!
