New Jerusalem Airport Photo

05D at 1Q4 with view south. While not much there, it is still as good as it was when built during WW2- for pratice. Had a legal aerobatic box on east side. Over the years, have watched some very good aerobatic pilots and some not so good.

1Q4, N4385E on downwind at 1Q4. Some of the best tomatos ( my opinion) are often grown in the fields around the runway as seen in the picture.Hope the tomatos that were needed for taste testing, were not missed? Sadly only about 2/3 are picked at harvest time., photo by S B J

1Q4, View down runway 12.At one point the FAA said the threshold was to near an existing irrigation ditch, so airport was closed.Somebody came up with the idea of moving threshold down 300 feet as seen. FAA happy and airport reopened., photo by S B J
