New Jerusalem Airport Photo

05D at 1Q4 with view south. While not much there, it is still as good as it was when built during WW2- for pratice. Had a legal aerobatic box on east side. Over the years, have watched some very good aerobatic pilots and some not so good.

1Q4, View down runway 12.At one point the FAA said the threshold was to near an existing irrigation ditch, so airport was closed.Somebody came up with the idea of moving threshold down 300 feet as seen. FAA happy and airport reopened., photo by S B J

1Q4, 1Q4 when it was closed for a year due to threshold issues. Again in 1988 when filming for the Steven Spielberg movie Always.Used model planes flying through trees on fire which was part of the fire fighting scenes .They had to refinished the runway., photo by S B J
