New Jerusalem Airport, 05D at 1Q4 with view south. While not much there, it is still as good as it was when built during WW2- for pratice. Had a legal aerobatic box on east side. Over the years, have watched some very good aerobatic pilots and some not so good.

- 1Q4 when it was closed for a year due to threshold issues. Again in 1988 when filming for the Steven Spielberg movie Always.Used model planes flying through trees on fire which was part of the fire fighting scenes .They had to refinished the runway. - by S B J

- N4385E on downwind at 1Q4. Some of the best tomatos ( my opinion) are often grown in the fields around the runway as seen in the picture.Hope the tomatos that were needed for taste testing,were not missed? Sadly only about 2/3 are picked at harvest time. - by S B J
