D-8281 @ EHYB - Waiting for a buyer that never came. After being withdrawn from active service in 1984 Dutch F-104's were stored at Ypenburg waiting for sale abroad. This was never materialized. Eventually D-8281 ended up at the NlAF technical school. - by Joop de Groot

D-8300 @ EHYB - After its withdrawl in 1984 surplus Starfighters were stored at Ypenburg. Three years later a spottersday was organized to give the fans one last opportunity to see these aircraft. D-8300 went to uithuizen afterwards. - by Joop de Groot
