60-5385 - These two Republic F 105s were seen in the mid 80s near Davis,Calif. Since there was no airport in sight and the tent,my guess is National Guard training. Were gone in several years.

N3942E @ 1Q4 - 42E with owner Jim setting up for a nice textbook 3 point landing on the numbers. He would consistently land in 300 feet or less.1Q4 had an irrigation ditch near threshold (caused 1Q4 closure for a year). This discouraged landing short.
N3942E @ 1Q4
N20266 @ SQL - N20266 at San Carlos airport in the late 90s.Good airplanes with flat tires always caught my interest. A magic carpet being wasted. Like a lost puppy dog,I always wanted to take them home!
N20266 @ SQL
UNKNOWN - Army Air Corps Curtiss B2 Condors flying in Death Valley,Calif. in an unknown year, but the B2 was made from 1929-30 and ended service with the military in 1934.Must have been a nice ride in that rear B2 from wake turbulence.

N89364 @ TCY - 364 being put back in the barn at the Tracy airport. The C140 was (still is) a sweet flying plane.
N89364 @ TCY
N9078E @ Q59 - 78E with its happy co-owner Diane, but then Aeronca Chief owners are a happy bunch. The propeller on 78E (my solo prop) was used on 6 of my planes befor its retirement. Was nice to compare the planes on a more equal basis.
N9078E @ Q59
N9881B - N9881B a 1958 TriChamp. Yes there is a complete plane there.
N9881B

N9773E @ RBL
N30772 - 772 seen up front with Cub 4557M off on far left and Champ on the right.Flying up the Lochse River in Idaho.Beautiful scenery but not a particularly good place for an engine problem.A Tcraft & a Luscombe were also in the neighborhood.
