This aircraft was delivered to the USAAF in July 1944, but no record card exists for service prior to 1966. In 1966 the plane was based in Alaska with the Alaska Air Command. In July 1971 the aircraft was provided to the Strategic Air Command Aerospace Museum at Offutt AFB, NE. In 1997 the plane became property of the new Strategic Air & Space Museum at Ashland, NE.
