This Hercules serves as a memorial in the National Vigilance Park at Fort Meade, Maryland to USAF airborne reconnaissance crew-members who gave their lives in Cold War operations and is painted to represent 56-0528, shot down over Armenia on September 2, 1958 whilst on an intelligence gathering mission.
