The oldest B-52G in the USAF inventory 57-6468 named “Eldership” of the 320th Bomb Wing made its last flight from Mather AFB to Offutt AFB on July 10, 1989 flown by the Unit’s commander, Col. David Johnson for display at the main entrance to the base.
