This Hercules was named "Spirit of Sumit 38" when photographed in July 1996 in memory of C-130E Hercules 62-1838, callsign Sumit 38, which crashed with the loss of all six crew-members on May 13, 1995 near Bliss, Idaho due to engine fire.
