Aircraft was based at Freeman Field, IN after WWII with ID FE-4600 on the tail. On 7/24/46 it crashed in Tennessee while on its way to Davis-Monthan AFB due to fuel leakage. Eventually sold for scrap and the cockpit was purchased in 1951 by Earl Reinhart and ended up displayed at Victory Air Museum in Mundelein, IL. Purchased in 1986 and sent to Sydney, Australia where it is now restored.
