Boeing 707-436 G-APFB was the first Boeing 707 Series 400 built. It was delivered to BOAC on May 9, 1960. The exact date of deregistration is unknown, but by 1978, the aircraft was parted out at Kingman, AZ, still wearing a hybrid BEA Airtours/Syrian Arab Airlines scheme. The cockpit section was sent to Boeing for tests of the forthcoming E-3A.
