This aircraft was involved in a crash at Bagby in Yorkshire on 4th August 2009. The helicopter was lifted to a hover in a strong and gusting tailwind. The aircraft yawed rapidly to the right and, before a stable hover could be re-established, its tail rotor struck the ground. Due to significant vibration through the tail rotor control pedals, the pilot carried out a running landing on to a grass area and shut down the helicopter. The helicopter was later repaired.
