I was a flight instructor at West Haven Airport, West Haven, Ct. from 1939 to 1941 and again from 1945 to 1948. During part of this period we had two Kitty Hawks, No. NC13250 and NC996M. I spent many happy Sunday afternoons passenger hopping in these two aircraft It was a great surprise to see old NC13250 at the museum at Bradley Field. I probably built up a couple of hundred hours flying time in these. Those were the good old days of flying.
