I purchased this aircraft in 1987 in Manchester, NH. It was out of annual at the time. I paid $8500 with it being annualed prior to taking ownership. Well the engine could not be annualed. So I was given a new engine at the same price. Loved this plane. Sure wish I still had this easy to fly member of our family.

My wife and I purchased N1537J Dec. 16, 2006 in Sanford Maine. We flew it home to Savannah Georgia the next day. A very long day in a Cherokee 140.
We have really enjoyed this plane. We have made several trips to Arkansas, and one to Orlando Florida so far...
We have our passports and are planning a trip to the Bahamas!!!
