While with Air America, I ferried N2001F from BKK to SGN on 27 March 1963. I then flew it in South Vietnam, 99+% of the flights originating and ending in SGN from 28 March through 24 April 1963. I left SGN for Vientiane, Laos via BKK on/about 25 April and never flew 01F again. I also flew N2002F, N4224G and N4225G in Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. The Do-28A was nice to fly with both engines operating and a "dog" on one engine. It did not operate as advertised by the manufacturer as far as I am concerned. Perhaps the "B" model, with
more powerful engines, did better.
