The FAA data base lists all Beech 95-B55 BARONS also as T42As. This deserves explanation: in 1965 Beech received an order from the US Army for the model 95-B55 BARON to serve as instrument and multi-engine military trainers.
These were the T-42 and T-42A 'Cochise' aircraft delivered first in white and olive drab combination color, later in all olive drab. Later US Army orders for T-42As went to the Turkish Army under a military assistance program. T-42As also were sold to the Spanish Air Force. Some 65 'Cochises' were delivered to the US Army, five for Turkey. Seven were sold direct to Spain. All 95-B55s were built under the same FAA approved type certificate number 3A16.
N21BB delivered in 1974 was not a prior 'warbird'; the dual designator listing is a quirk of the FAA data base.
