I parked next to this aircraft for over a year. At that time, I don't believe it had blue numbers. A distinctive feature of this airplane was extended nacelles with unusual twin nostril over-the-wing exhausts. These were definitely aftermarket. It would be interesting to check the engine serial numbers against the records, if records can be found.

Crash site is in the Gila Wilderness where mechanised equipment is not allowed. As of 6/15/08 wreck appeared to be intact, easily visible and accessible from the Crest Trail about 50 ft. below. Area is receiving daily attention from passing hikers and backpackers.
