This B-25D Mitchell originally built as USAF 41-29784 was sold onto the civilian market around 1948 and had several further registrations as N5078N, N122B, N2DD and finally N2XD. Finally put on display over the snack bar area on the hangar deck of USS Yorktown at Patriots Point.
