According to a kind email received from Louis Hastings on 23 June 2011, "Fairchild 24 N3212 was restored in 1975 from a basket case by Don Dickson and Louis Hastings. It has been repainted since we rebuilt it". I thank Louis Hastings for this welcome added information.

This aircrart was rebuilt from basket case around 1975 by Don Dickson and Louis Hastings in San Antonio Texas.I see that it has been repainted.
