In 1975, I worked for Thomas P. Harkins, Inc. . a construction contractor in the Maryland suburbs of Washington D.C. The company bought 34629 so that I could fly to projects in Southern Virginia, particularly one in Lynchburg. I still fly 629er in my dreams, around the night-time thunderstorms over the mountains. across Dulles and back home to Gaithersburg and Frederick. When the projects were done, the company sold the plane, and although I was VP cf construction, that was the beginning of the end for me, I left a couple of years later.. I hope you're having as much of a magical time as I did in that great little airplane.
