This aircraft was once owned by the famed Blackwood Brothers Quartet. A Picture of this A/C can be seen in the book "The Blackwood Brothers Picture Book." They later purchased a Beechcraft B-18 that crashed and took the lives of Pilot R.W. Blackwood and Bill Lyles. This group began singing in 1934 and continues to perform today.
