Does anyone know the history of this aircraft ? My father had a Jungmeister in France during WWII as his personal airplane since he was the squadron commander. Said it was the best airplane that he ever flew. The general made him paint it olve drab with stars and bars. At the end of WWII he had permission to crate it up and bring it hime for organizational material. It never got here. It was originally painted red and cream sunburst. I believe that it was the airplane that the 1939 German airobatic champion used to win his title. Could this be the airplane ?
