In September 1981 Ken Robertson invited Frank Taylor to work with he and Mike Nixon in the pits at Reno. At weeks end. Frank asked Ken to help him build a Racer. So began the collecting of people and parts that became Unlimited Race Four AKA Dago Red. This machine was built from an idea, finished and raced to victory in just under one year. I don't think that has happened before or since? The "building" took place at Chino Airport in the California Aerosport Hanger and in Sun Valley California. The list of participants in this process is quite long. One hell of a year!
