I am submitting this comment in hopes that it will reach the owner of this aircraft. I know its a stretch, but worth the try.
My name is Candis Kenny and I live in Illinois (SW of Chicago) with my family. Recently my grandfather, Al Kline, was placed in a nursing home in Texas (near the OK border). He was the original owner of this plane. When my mother (who is now 55) was a child (before her parents divorced), he would take her for rides in this, as he was a designer for leer jet. It was a very special time for them both.
As the years have passed, they often reflect on the time shared in this plane. On a recent visit to my mother's house, I found her wrapped in a deep conversation with my grandfather on this very subject. I then had a chance to speak to them both (on speaker phone) and I was asked to try to locate the plane and see where it is currently located and (if possible) try to get the owners contact information.
I know we are really reaching here, but, the hopes of my mother and grandfather is to someday (before he passes) to, again, take a ride together. We are willing to discuss compensation for your help.
Please feel free to contact me via email at candis.k@comcast.net.
I look forward to hearing back from you!
Sincerely, Candis Kenny
