In clarification, the 335 built were for the French Forces. Over 400 were built, the difference aircraft were supplied to the several countries in the French sphere of influence.

The aircraft is a French-- Avions Max Holste M.H.1521M Broussard with P&W R-985 radial of 450 Hp. 335 were built in France between 1952 and 1959. Two prototypes. Used by the Aviation Legere de l'Armee de Terre (A.L.A.T.) and the Armee de l'Air, as well as by the armed forces of Madagascar, Morocco, Mauretania and Senegal. As ambulance can accommodate two casualty stretchers and two sitting casualties or medical attendants. Is a six seat light utility transport aircraft. Seats may be removed for use as a freighter.
