This aircraft was built as C-47A 43-30703 and delivered to USAAF on 10/2/43, serving overseas. Returned to USA after WWII and went to Reconstruction Finance Corp on 11/13/45. It was then sold to Sperry Gyroscope Company of Great Neck, NY as NX58099. On 7/10/67 the plane was registered in Canada as CF-HBX with Hudsons Bay Oil & Gas Co. at Calgary, Alberta. On 11/18/71 it went to Arctic Air Ltd, Ft. Simpson, Northwest Territory. The aircraft then changed hands in Canada several times until Feb 1979 when it was put up for sale. It then went to the USA as N705GB with G. Barreda, then to Air Cargo America on 11/6/85. (info from Arthur Pearcy's "Douglas DC-3 Survivors")
