My Dad sold this plane in the early 1980's to a man in Flordia and the plane was later shot down by the feds over the gulf of Mexico while running drugs. A sorry end for a wonderful plane. My father purchased it from General Dynamics in San Diego where it was a company plane from 1956 to 1974. What a beautiful airplane and what a great loss.
