This aircraft was involved in an incident dated July 9th of 2008 where a flight instructor administering a check ride to a student was forced to make an emergency landing in a field near the Regan Library in Simi Valley, CA after reported mechanical problems. The aircraft flipped over before coming a rest. There were only minor injuries to the pilots, and the aircraft is expected to be a write-off.
