Built as a B.2 in 1954, WK122 first served with 15 Sqn at RAF Conningsby. It was converted to a Target Tug, TT.18, and later transferred to the A&AEE for radio proving trials in April 1968. In September 1968 it was sent to 15 Maintenance Unit, RAF Wroughton , and from there transferred for service with 7 Sqn at RAF St Mawgan in its TT.18 role.
WK122 was sold to BAC in 1981 before being bought by Flambards Triple Theme Park in May 1988. Scrapped at Helston in 2000, the cockpit was preserved and is now in private ownership in Cumbria.
